From the Co-Founder’s Desk
When I was in college, I took an internship in a big company...working in a division of that company...writing some test code for a product that they were thinking of releasing. Fortunately for me, that experience really sucked, and made me consider why I come into work everyday: In a nutshell, I want to work on cool stuff that actually makes an impact with smart (and nice!) people.
PowerReviews offers that to every employee. In particular, we offer this opportunity to our interns because we want you to work for us for the long term and to tell your friends about your experience. And because we serve a base of thousands of clients and work with user content in the tens of millions, there are no shortage of great ideas or people here who need will engage and support you.
At the end of your internship, you will have had a chance to befriend a lot of the PowerReviews team, to learn a lot about our business, and to have produced something that you will be PROUD of the time that you spent here.

PowerReviews offers internships and entry level positions in all of our departments; Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Client Services, Operations, Finance and Human Resources. On a small team of high performers you will tackle big challenges.
“I worked on an API that allows any authorized 3rd party to get review data into the PowerReviews system. Its initial use case will be for clients in Japan who want to build a mobile phone review interface that submits to the PowerReviews backend.”
“I worked as a sales intern selling the PowerReviews solution to retailers and brands. I learned how to message our solution to a variety of audiences. My internship became my full-time career when I graduated this spring.”
“I worked on the front-end to a gift-finder application. Using the massive amount of text data that PowerReviews collects, and LDA, a text mining algorithm, we discovered which products in our catalog were most commonly given as gifts out of tens of millions of products and reviews in our system.“
“I support a National sales team and develop custom demos for the e-commerce sites of well-known Fortune 500 companies. I get to use the technology I’m learning in school and add my own creative bend by implementing the PowerReviews solution and styling it for customers’ websites.”
