Andy Chen, Founder and CEO
Andy is co-founder and CEO of PowerReviews, where he is responsible for the overall vision and strategic direction for the company.
At Fogdog, Andy led the customer acquisition and creative teams to create a world-class brand based on providing an extraordinary customer experience. Following the acquisition by GSI Commerce, Andy served as Vice President, Product Development and Vice President, Product Management for GSI. In these roles, he worked closely with GSI's ecommerce partners to ensure that the features and functionality of their sites provided an optimal customer experience.
Following GSI, Andy joined Yahoo! Shopping in 2004 as Director of Product Management. There, Andy was responsible for overseeing site features and functionality with a goal of positioning Yahoo! Shopping as the starting destination for customers shopping online. Andrew attended Stanford University.
Robert Chea, Founder and COO
Robert Chea is co-founder and chief operating officer of PowerReviews. In this role, Robert is the company's product and technology visionary, ensuring PowerReviews' features and functionality continue to meet the evolving needs of retailers and brands in today's research-intensive shopping environment.
At Fogdog, Robert led the technology and development efforts, and focused on delivering superior technologies and services to establish Fogdog as a leading online retail brand.
Robert also served as Chief Technology Officer for GSI, directing the company's overall technology infrastructure and development strategies to support ongoing rapid growth. Robert later transitioned into the role of Vice President of Strategy, where he led product management, user experience, and search strategy. Robert is a graduate of Stanford University.
Jim Morris, VP, Buzzillions Platform
Jim is VP of the Buzzillions Platform where he manages the growth and expansion of Buzzillions.com (www.buzzillions.com), the world’s premier customer reviews website. His passion is creating a user-centric site where the actual words from real consumers lead shoppers to the best buying decision.
Born into the Internet in 1996, Jim has spent the last 11 years architecting, creating and managing large scale eCommerce services for hundreds of online retailers. He was part of the team that created the review service for Fogdog.com and knew then that reviews would revolutionize the buying experience.
Prior to PowerReviews, Jim served as an e-commerce architect and consultant to a variety of innovative eCommerce companies including GSI Commerce and NapaStyle. Jim is a graduate of Stanford University.
Gautam Prabhu, VP Services
As VP of Services, Gautam is responsible for leading the engineering efforts to provide world-class technology and social merchandising solutions to clients.
Gautam has over 10 years of development and engineering management experience in the software industry, focusing on e-commerce solutions and enterprise software and services. He has held engineering positions at Fogdog, GSI Commerce and Sun Microsystems.
Gautam holds a BS in Computer Science from Stanford University.
Jay Shaffer, VP Worldwide Sales & Marketing
Jay Shaffer is VP, Worldwide Sales & Marketing at PowerReviews, where he is responsible for creating awareness and adoption of the company’s customer review solution throughout the global online retail community. He is leveraging his unique merchant perspective and proven track record of success in building successful retail campaigns to spearhead PowerReviews’ successful international expansion.
Jay is frequently a featured speaker at national online retail conferences, and is well known as a champion for online consumers and "chief customer advocate" because of his customer-centric approach to online retail. Previously, Jay was VP of Marketing for Directly Home and VP of Customer Experience for Wine.com. He also served at Ofoto, Inc. as their Director of Customer Acquisition. Jay is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton.
Darby Williams, VP Product Strategy
Darby Williams is a high tech product management and marketing professional, with more than 20 years in the software and Internet industries. Darby is the VP of Product Strategy at PowerReviews, responsible for shaping the vision and definition of social merchandising solutions for retailers and social shopping solutions for consumers.
Prior to joining PowerReviews, Darby served as VP of Marketing and Product Management for Active Decisions, the leader in online guided selling software and services for retailers, providing enhanced merchandising capabilities through online personal shopping assistance that increased online conversion, cross-sell and up-sell. Prior to Active Decisions, Darby founded and ran CookExpress.com, an e-commerce food company offering meal solutions nationally and locally over the Internet. Prior to that, he served as Group Product Manager of the Multimedia Systems Group at Microsoft, leading the development and marketing of the now-ubiquitous multimedia computing platform.
Darby has an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago and a B.A. from the University of Virginia, and he was a strategy management consultant for Booz Allen & Hamilton in its information technology sector.
Joshua Greenough, VP Operations
Joshua is the VP of Operations at PowerReviews, where he is responsible for managing the people and processes that support both retail partners and consumers. His mission is to improve the shopping experience by leveraging process and technology to improve PowerReviews' consumer responsiveness while continually achieving greater levels of efficiency.
Being raised in the Silicon Valley has it advantages as the dinner table always had a new business idea to discuss. Prior to PowerReviews, Joshua worked as a software engineer at both AuctionDrop.com and Fogdog.com, as an analyst at Champion Ventures, and managed his own technology outsourcing company. Joshua's extracurricular experience playing high level Ultimate Frisbee often translates very well when building the operations team.
Joshua holds a BS with majors in Business Finance and Computer Science from the University of Oregon.
Matt Parsons, VP Client Services
As VP of Client Services, Matt leads account management, integration and implementation efforts at PowerReviews. His primary focus is client satisfaction, ensuring that each client realizes all the benefits of our high-quality, industry-leading social merchandising solution throughout the merchant’s shopping experience.
Matt has over 10 years of account and project management experience in the financial, telecommunications and e-commerce industries. Prior to joining PowerReviews, he managed a sales operations team at Qwest Communications and prior to that was a Senior Consultant at BearingPoint. Matt’s first foray in e-commerce was at Fogdog.com and he is a graduate of Stanford University.
