Even in the best of times, every dollar counts when it comes to marketing, but in a slow economy it is critical for companies to increase sales and reduce costs. That's good news for PowerReviews, the originator of the tag-based approach to customer reviews, because our tool has been proven to increase sales for merchants in categories as diverse as consumer electronics, apparel, gifts, and toys.

Today's retailers are facing falling conversion rates, but our partners are seeing their conversions going up. Why? Because we empower them to provide the most relevant feedback and information about products to people who visit their sites, which gives shoppers greater confidence in making a purchase. Buzzillions - Growing and Growing!

We launched our retail portal, Buzzillions.com, on April 10, 2007 with 40,958 products and 128,640 reviews. A year later, we had 323,116 products and 1,502,259 reviews. That's great growth, but those numbers only tell part of the story. We're not just listing products with reviews: we're providing the most credible way to shop online by giving shoppers access to what real people are saying about products. That means manufacturer-generated reviews or "5-Star" ratings don't automatically find their way to the top of the list; as a result, shoppers trust us to provide the information they want and need - and are more likely to buy from one of our hundreds of merchant partners.

When we launched Buzzillions a year ago we wanted to see PowerReviews tools in action. In essence, it's the laboratory where we test our groundbreaking approach to tags in a real-world environment. And based on our meteoric growth, and traffic conversion rates, it's working more than just fine - it's working great!
