As the old saying goes, “a picture is worth a thousand words” - and in the world of online retail, we think it’s worth even more. We were the first review solution to allow shoppers to submit their own images along with their product reviews, and since then tens of thousands of customers have done just that. User-generated images add even more value to the product review by enabling online shoppers to do more than just read about it: they show how the product might fit into their lives. Images create a powerful emotional bond with your brand by allowing your customers to connect with your community and to see how other people just like them are enjoying their purchases.

Be a “Customer Hero”

We are launching a new images program in June (yes, you are the first to know!) that will allow reviewers to become “customer heroes” by presenting customer-submitted images right along with manufacturer-supplied images on the product page. Before now, customer-submitted images were like unexpected treasures you discovered while reading through the individual product reviews. Our new Customer Hero images program allows you to:

  • Prominently display and promote customer-submitted images as a collection on the product detail page
  • Better engage and inspire the shopper with a visual “experience” of the product being used and enjoyed
  • Provide a fun and entertaining way for your shoppers to connect with your product
  • Turn your customers into Heroes and product evangelists
