August 12, 2014 – We are proud to announce that PowerReviews has been selected as an approved aggregator to supply ratings and reviews for Google’s new product ratings program.
This new program, announced last week, adds star ratings and reviews information to Product Listing Ads (PLAs). PLAs appear alongside the majority of product-related Google searches, and as a preferred partner, we’ll be providing a direct syndication feed of reviews to Google on behalf of our e-commerce clients.
Now ratings and reviews are further embedded within the Google search experience, enabling reviews to be seen by hundreds of millions of shoppers each month. By providing review data for the product ratings program, we’re making valuable information available to consumers at the online decision-making moment, what Google has called the “Zero Moment of Truth,” and helping to send merchants more qualified customers.
