We use various tracking technologies on our Site and Review Service. We use all of these tracking technologies to improve our Site and Review Service and the experience of our visitors. More information about specific third party tools is listed below:

  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use our website. For example, we collect details of the site where the visitor has come from and the total number of times a visitor has been to our website.   • DoubleClick (by Google): We use these tracking tools to track user behavior over time and across third party sites to improve the effectiveness of our online advertising. We and our partners display interest-based advertising using information gathered about you over time across multiple websites or other platforms. This might include apps.

Interest-based advertising or “online behavioral advertising” includes ads served to you after you leave our Site or Review Service, encouraging you to return. They also include ads we think are relevant based on your shopping habits or online activities. These ads might be served on websites or on apps. They might also be served in emails. Our Do Not Track Policy: Some websites have “do not track” features that allow you to tell a website not to track you. These features are not all uniform. To enable anonymous analytics & measurement reporting to improve the user experience and product. (“PowerReviews Network Cookie”) If cookies are disabled or blocked then users will not be tracked via an anonymous unique identifier.
To enable user-generated content submission If cookies are disabled, you might not be able to submit reviews, questions, answers, and other forms of UGC.
To operate PowerReviews services. If cookies are disabled then the service cannot track reviews user have submitted or voted on, which may impact the ability to perform these actions.

If cookies are disabled or blocked then users may still see ads on sites that choose to serve ads, however, such ads will not be tailored to the user based on the user’s browsing history. Analytics cookies. These cookies are used to anonymously track navigation and site behavior in order to optimize and track the effectiveness of the website and user experiences. If cookies are disabled or blocked, then users will not be tracked via an anonymous unique identifier.

To delete session cookies, simply close your web browser or turn off the computer’s power. The session cookies will be deleted automatically.

  • Simply closing your web browser or turning off your computer will not delete persistent cookies. In order to delete persistent cookies, you will need to manually delete them through your browser’s settings options.
  •  You can disable both session and persistent cookies used for marketing by adjusting the settings on your web browser. For instructions on disabling cookies please reference your web browser help.
